This picture was created by using Photoshop as part of an online course that I took (Izzy Burton). The most important goal for me in this course was on the one hand to expand my knowledge of the extensive Photoshop tools and on the other hand to train the targeted use of light and shadow in an image.
The basis for this artwork was a photo taken by the photographer Monaris, which shows a vintage car parked in front of a 50s-style motel. Although it is a current photo, time seems to have stood still in this picture and so I let my imagination flow and added various characters to the picture. In the end, I added various texturing and vintage effects to the image to further enhance the impression of time standing still.
